EDI - Blish-Mize
Blish-Mize Co. is a distributor of hardware, paint, and many other products serving the Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States (please visit www.blishmize.com for additional information). Communication is done directly with Blish-Mize, there is no need to install any additional software.
Summary
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) capabilities with Blish-Mize include the following (as of 8/12/2015):
oAn alternate format is offered that allows your company to indicate ship/order date in the future. This is accessed from the Transmit, EDI tab of the Process (F12) form in Order Entry.
•Vendor Catalog with Item Images
Before doing a catalog load, you must contact Blish-Mize. The catalog is kept up-to-date by file maintenance updates. File maintenance updates don't generally change inventory items, they just affect the catalog.

Setup & Considerations
Item images reside on the Blish-Mize web site. In order for the Catalog feature to display images, you may need to allow access to https://www.blishmize.com/prd-img/web/through your company's firewall(s). The FTP (File Transfer Protocol) site used for data exchange is ftp.blishmize.com which also should be allowed through any firewall(s).
