Database > Code Definitions
You can use Code Definitions to add and maintain inventory codes used in the Item Maintenance and other inventory-related forms. Codes that can be edited through this area are Location Codes (ALT-L), Yard Codes (ALT-Y), Message Group Codes (ALT-M), Seasonal (ALT-S), Price Matrix (ALT-P), Units of Measure (ALT-U), Returns (ALT-R), Product ID (ALT-D),

To delete a code, place a check in the Delete check box and select Process (F12).
Do not delete codes that are in use by any items.

To change a code's description, click in the Description cell to the right of the code and type a new description and press the Process (F12) key to save the changes.
Many Code Definitions don't have to be set up in this form before you can use them. Some code fields in the Item Maintenance form have Settings 
icons that allow users to add new codes to the database when they are adding or updating an item record. Click the link below to learn more about the Code Definitions available to you.
