Delivery Utilities
There are currently four (4) utilities used with the Delivery area: Invoice Load, Unlock Order, GPS Tracking and On Time in Full (OTIF).
This utility is provided to allow the dispatcher (or other user) to quickly invoice all or some of the deliveries for a particular load (or manifest document).
This utility, also available from the Point of Sale area, is provided so that a dispatcher can remove a "delivery lock" on a customer order to allow modifications. Locking orders for delivery is optional. A parameter enables or disables this feature.
This feature integrates with the Spruce Anyware app for Android™ platform devices. If a Spruce Anyware user has GPS capability on their device and they enable it, the Spruce Anyware app can record the geolocation during delivery runs. These points can be accessed via this form allowing a Delivery manager to view the information recorded and in some cases generate a map (via a web browser) that shows the location of the delivery vehicle (the device location) at different intervals. Spruce Anyware is a separately licensed product.
On Time & In Full Exceptions (OTIF)
This area allows your company to maintain a record of delivery exceptions. This would be used to record and then review the reasons why deliveries were either not delivered on time or in full. Custom reports may be necessary or required to better make use of this feature.
