General Ledger > Folders > Budget

The "budget" folder displays up to three years of budgeted amounts for the selected account (with a breakdown for each of the 13 cycles). The years displayed are determined by your current fiscal year. The middle column is the current fiscal year, the other two are the prior fiscal year and the future fiscal year. Account information is repeated on this panel for reference.

Use of a budget is optional. Budgets are created using the Budget Entry transaction on the General Ledger menu.
