Signature & Card Processing Devices
The following topics discuss devices that can be used as a display device, for signature collection, and/or credit card/debit card processing. Signatures can be collected for store-managed receivables customers as well as both credit and debit card processing. The current models available for sale are the VeriFone® MX models. Only the VeriFone models are currently PCI DSS compliant. We do not support or suggest continued use of Symbol or Hypercom brand pads or the ICVerify or PCCharge software for card processing (this is especially true if your card software is running on Window XP client PC). Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft (as of April 8, 2014).

Signature pads and card processing devices may contain proprietary software that is independently licensed. Some must be purchased directly from ECi Software Solutions, Inc. Others, such as the VeriFone Vx Series pads used with Global Payments must be purchased from the processor.
1Security Keys must be "injected" by the bank (card processor) before any debit processing can be done. Pads are shipped to your selected processor which can cause delivery delays in some cases.
