Dynamic Reports

Dynamic reporting is one of four (4) cornerstones or concepts that make the Spruce software a powerful information management tool. Reports are referred to as "dynamic" because of active links within the Document Viewer that allow users to click on information appearing on a report, such as a document #, and open that document. Dynamic links appear in blue text. These links can save great deal of time because a user can instantly retrieve and view an associated document.

In addition, once the associated document is open in the Document Viewer, the user has quick access to any links that document maintains. This chain of document links provides users the ability to easily drill down to get more and more detail.

Links on reports appear in blue text; however, dynamic links also can appear in some grids in normal (black) text color. Items or customers appearing in inquiry grids often can be clicked on to open an inquiry form for more information.
