Inventory > Reports > Inventory Usage Report
This Utility provides a way for our personnel to enter usage and sales history for items in their test or sales item database. Loading usage and sales using this form can be time consuming, so it's probably not feasible for large numbers of items. Usage history can be loaded for customers from a spreadsheet upon request (this is a billable service). A password has been added to prevent users from accidentally using this utility and overwriting valid usage figures after they are live.
To access this report, choose Inventory > Reports > Inventory Usage.
Usage is entered as quantities (totals will accumulate at the bottom of each year's columns). Enter Sales and Cost of Sales as dollar amounts. Once all figures have been entered, use the Add Usage button to update the Item database. It's important to point out that all of an existing item's usage figures will be overwritten by the new values (including any blank or empty values). If you are entering usage for an item with existing figures, you will need to re-enter the existing usage as well as any new quantities and amounts.
