Copy Recurring
Recurring Journals can be used to make repetitive journal entries easier to process. A recurring journal is a template used to generate an actual journal entry. This utility is used for building the G/L entries from journal (recurring) templates. Recurring journals can be set up or modified from the database options under the General Ledger application.
Copy Recurring Journals
Use the menu marker to quickly select or clear selections. Only those journals that have been selected (using the check boxes) will be processed to create journal entries. The description of the recurring journal will be used as the description of the manual journal created after processing. This allows users to identify the journals created from recurring journal templates.
Create AP Check Entries where needed?
The "Create AP Check Entries where needed?" check box can be used to automatically generate a new check register entry whenever an account associated with a recurring journal being copied is also associated with a check register.
Once recurring journals have been selected, choose Process (F12) to build the journal entries. To close the form window without processing, choose Exit (F10).
