Update Customer PO#

This utility allows a user to make changes to the customer’s PO# associated with an existing document (specifically sales invoices, customer orders, and charge returns). This would be used in cases where a customer’s PO# has changed but transactions were processed using either the wrong PO# or no PO#. In most cases, changing the PO# on a document would only be effective in cases where that document has not yet been delivered since it's primarily for your customer's reference. As with any new forms we add, security changes are necessary to allow menu access to this utility.

Utilities_POS_Update_CustomerPO

Begin by entering or scanning a document from the "Document" drop down. The only user-modifiable field is the "Customer PO#" field. This will display the selected document's current PO number (if any).

To change the document's PO #, you must choose Process (F12). There is no process "form" provided; changes are saved immediately.
