Another aspect of security applies only to multi-branch companies. When there is more than one location, some companies prefer to limit employee's activities to those related to their assigned branch.

Users can be assigned to a specific branch. This is the user's Default Branch. In addition, a list of "allowed" branches is available. These are branches the user has permission to access or select in areas that allow branch selection (reports, file maintenance, etc.). A separate check box is provided that determines whether the user is allowed to change their branch.

Stations (and printers) can also be assigned to a specific branch. If a user doesn't have a station in their list of "allowed branches," they won't be able to use the software from that location.
