What's New: Global Payments (Cayan) Adds Surcharge to Credit Card Transactions

Global Payments (Cayan) is adding a Surcharges feature in November to help offset the cost of accepting credit cards on eligible credit card payments. ECI will work with you and Global Payments (Cayan) to set up this process, including the surcharge percentage, so you cannot adjust it in the application.
Note: This Surcharge feature is not currently available for other merchant systems.

Surcharges are an alternative to — not a replacement for — Convenience Fees; you cannot use both features at the same time. Global Payments (Cayan) enables surcharging for each branch you enroll in the feature.
