Global Updates
New Settings for Orgill FanBuilder Coupons
If you participate in the FanBuilder Rewards program, Orgill is about to make some changes in the FanBuilder coupon prefixes that we want to prepare you for. Businesses can replace their coupon prefixes (formerly CPN%) with any value they prefer; however, this change requires additional steps to ensure the coupon is applied and scanned accurately. We are covering this new process in Using the Orgill FanBuilder Coupon Changes.
New Way to Add and Update Postal (ZIP) Codes
In the past, the Implementation team pre-loaded postal/ZIP codes into your system, using the Zip Code/Post Code Maintenance form. This made it hard for your business to make changes or additions to this data, which was particularly difficult for businesses using the Ecommerce features. We removed the pre-load codes option from the system to provide more flexibility for adding and updating your postal/ZIP code settings. See Importing Postal (ZIP) Codes to learn how to add new and updated information to your postal code data.
Ecommerce Updates
New Filter by Invoice Status for Online AR Customers
Our customers told us that when their customers pay their bills online, it would be great to filter the invoice list by payment status. This would allow them to see the list of unpaid invoices, making it easier to choose which to pay next. We have added an InvoicePaymentStatus entry to the InvoiceFilter so third-party providers can provide this feature too. See Customers Filter Invoices by Payment Status (SPEC).
New Endpoint for Determining the Application Version
Customers asked us to add a GetVersion endpoint to the Ecommerce API. See New Endpoint for Determining Version Information to learn more about this new endpoint.
DeliveryDate Field added to OrderRequests Model
The new DeliveryDate field in the OrderRequests model (in the Ecommerce API) allows your customers to submit pick up and delivery information for their online orders. To learn more about this change, see Delivery Date Added to Online Order Requests.
